Eight year old Rex came into Rescue as an owner surrender. Smelly, matted and with non-medical treatment, Rex first had been placed in a shelter and was there for quite a while. Rex tested positive for heart worm disease which the Shelter could not afford. It took months and special fundraising by MSR to meet the needs of this sweet dog.  He now has a team of MSR owners that care for him and he is in the most loving of homes.
